The International Master’s Degree in Planetary Geoscience is dedicated to the preparation of students in the field of Planetary Sciences to study the Planets, their geology, their evolution, their environments, their structure within the Solar System. The exploration of the Solar System is now in full swing with three main objectives: i) the human exploration of Mars and the Moon with the latter involved in the establishment of a permanently inhabited base; ii) the exploration with satellites of the outer Solar System; iii) the robotic exploration of the rocky and icy planets of the Solar System. The Master’s Degree will provide students with knowledge and operational tools to address these challenges.
