Intercultural education will be addressed starting from its philosophical origins, with particular reference to the conceptual dimension of the other and of the different within the different religions, with particular emphasis on the phenomena of fundamentalism and radicalism. The educational practices in the social field and the political practices implemented in the social context will be expressed and analyzed in order to generate a real inclusive climate within the different social contexts, enumerating the basic principles according to the different contexts of reference. Among the methodological and instrumental aspects will be investigated 1) Narrative and dialogic methods useful for meeting with others for the purpose of a real and complete knowledge of the other, the only tool capable of interfering with the birth and maintenance of stereotypes and social prejudices and cultural; 2) intercultural mediation, also in reference to the professionalism and specific techniques of intercultural mediators in different contexts (family, school, society, street, prison).
To this end, the journey of formation will be used, analyzed in its historical, aesthetic, interior and intercultural aspects, with particular reference to the appreciation of the different from a cultural and landscape point of view.
