Objectives

The course focuses on how banks can build long-term relationships with large firms, by providing strong advisory expertise and M&A, corporate banking, treasury, debt and equity product expertise to deliver integrated financial solutions. The course aims at supplying advanced knowledge in the management of the bank-firm relationship, and skills in order to operate in the core areas of financial institutions.

• Investment banking during the crisis;
• Strategic Mergers and Acquisitions advice;
• Corporate Restructuring;
• Debt capital markets: restructuring debt, refinancing debt and raising new debt;
• Pool financing;
• Equity capital markets: advising clients on how much capital to raise, from where and when;
• Focus on initial public offerings (IPOs), private equity funds and venture capital funds;
• Mezzanine financing;
• Developments in lending policies;
• Securitisation.
