The knowledge of the fundamental notions of private and commercial law is required.
The course aims to explain the main concepts of financial markets and institutions, with particular reference to financial intermediation, and public companies.
The course is divided into two parts, the first dedicated to the financial intermediaries' law and the second concerning financial markets and public companies law.
Module I) Investment firms and their activity. Financial instruments. Investment services rules. Collective management of securities. The supervisory activity. Financial intermediaries' crisis. Module II) Financial markets law. Securities' issuers law. Public offers of securities. Takeover bids. Issuers information. Public companies law.
