The course of data science in economica aims to contribute to the student's learning process by providing advanced methodologies for quantitative analyses that are useful for economic and business decisions.

The course,through the development of a research, project aims to provide the advanced methodological and application knowledge of data science
for economic data using the open source statistical package R.

Applying knowledge and understanding
At the end of the course, the student, with the development of a research project performed with the statistical software R, will also be able to analyze data- bases, including large ones, with modern statistical techniques. The acquired knowledge will allow him/her to critically interpret the economic and / or business dynamics.
