The course of Clinical Genetics will deal with topics focused on the study of the genetic basis of the most common behavioral problems in human. Topics such as the genetics of mood disorders, schizophrenia autism, eating disorders and dementia will be analyzed.
The role of epigenetic modifications in the development of such diseases will be also discussed. Particular interest will be devoted to the psychological problems related to the execution of genetic tests and to the management of patients' psychological problems during the genetic counseling.
