Learn about the basic elements of descriptive, analytical and evaluative epidemiology; Learn and be able to use the main measures of disease frequency and exposure to risk factors and protective factors; Learn about and be able to use the main measures of disease risk.
The course aims to provide the basic knowledge of epidemiology for the analysis and understanding of the health problems of populations

The course is taught by lectures of 2 hours based on the didactic calendar. The lectures include a strong interactive component between lecturer and students. Attendance is mandatory.
