In order to be able to follow this Biochemistry module successfully, the following basic knowledge is essential as essential prerequisites:
Basic knowledge of inorganic and organic general chemistry.
Basics of basic algebra
Properties of the powers. Exponential function and properties of exponentials
Logarithmic function and properties of logarithms
Basic notions of classical physics. Physical quantities and S.I. Principles of thermodynamics. Thermodynamic quantities: enthalpy, free energy and entropy. Properties of ideal gases.
Cartesian reference system. Knowledge of the functions: sine, cosine, tangent.
Knowledge of functions: line, parabola, hyperbole.

Applied Biology :The student is required to have a good knowledge of the basic concepts of chemistry, physics and biology of high school courses.
