Objectives

- Knowing how to prevent and recognize a Trauma;
- Knowing how to prevent health emergencies in the intra and extra -hospital setting;
- Know the organization of the local rescue network;
- Getting to know the M.E.T. and what are the activation criteria of the same;
- Know the main rules for correct administration of drugs (intramuscular)

Contents

The Course intends to address the training of those who work in the health prevention sector both in public structures and in private companies and who,
as part of their professional activity, they deal with problems related to the prevention and management of emergencies in public health in areas
potentially interested in environmental phenomena with significant risk.

Extended Syllabus

- Notes of Trauma, Polytrauma, PHTLS;
- 118 switchboard: request for assistance and dispatch;
- Intrahospital emergencies: M.E.T. and emergency trolley as per company regulations;
- Activities to prevent emergencies from natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, environmental disasters, etc...)
- Pharmacological therapy
