A sound background in Histology, Human anatomy, Biology and Phisiology is mandatory.
Main aim of the course is to familiarize students with the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to the cancer patient. The different modules of the course will explore the different caring needs of these patients
The course consists of 4 different modules (Oncology nursing, Human pathology, Radiotherapy and Medical Oncology). They will give the basic knowledge required for the management of cancer patients
Detailed study programs are available on the the pages of the different modules of the course
Study materials will be given at the end of each class.
The couse is based on formal classesduring which student-teacher interaction is encouraged
Assessment of learning is base on written (multiple choice) or oral tests
Teachers' office hours will be defined during the first classes of the different modules
