The aim of the course is to allow the student to acquire the fundamental knowledge related to the main theoretical and applicative aspects of Bioengineering. In particular it must include: the basic notions concerning measurement, the structure of the biomedical instrumentation and its main components, the nature of a biomedical signal, the properties of a signal, the problems of A/D conversion, the acquisition and analysis of biomedical signals. The student, after understanding the principles, will be able to apply them on examples and understand the effect. The student will be able to understand what happens with independent judgment.
