The Course aims to provide an introduction to international commercial exchange that will be addressed starting from the fundamentals of customs legislation, the preferential and non-preferential Origin of Goods, the EU Customs Tariff and the classification of goods. The essential documentation for international transport, the fundamental tools for Supply Chain Management and logistics will also be analysed.
LEARNING OUTCOMES EXPECTED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS UNDERSTANDING
After completing the course, students must be in possession of the knowledge for understanding:
- the main characteristics of the Community’s customs legislation;
- the main customs operations;
- the main characteristics regarding logistics and Supply Chain Management.
JUDGEMENT
After completing the course, students will be able to identify/develop links between the various issues in the multidisciplinary perspective.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
At the end of the course students will acquire an appropriate specific technical-scientific language relating to the management of international trade typical of customs terminology, logistics and Supply Chain Management.
