The student's knowledge will be carried out through two tests: a written one and an oral colloquium.
The written test will be administered at the end of the lectures of the second semester course and will be aimed to ascertaining the student's ability to use the skills acquired during the course. The duration of the written test is two hours and will consist of:
--18 multiple-choice questions with four answer possibilities and a score of 1/30 in the case of a correct answer and a score of -0.25/30 in the case of an incorrect answer;
--4 numerical problems for each of which the procedure followed to obtain the result must be reported.
Achieving a rating greater than or equal to 15/30, will allow you to take the oral test which will be long approximately 20 minutes; it will consist of a discussion of the written test with any in-depth analysis at the discretion of the teacher. The objective of the entire exam is to ascertain the student's knowledge, understanding, acquisition of the language of the discipline and the ability to expose the theoretical aspects, as well as verify the student's ability to apply the skills acquired.
The final measurement of the exam will take into account the evaluations obtained in both: the written and the oral tests.
In order to facilitate passing the written test, three ongoing written tests are foreseen, the passing of which with a grade greater than 18/30 exempts the student from the general written test.
