The teaching contributes to the achievement of the training objectives of the Pharmacy Course, providing students with knowledge about epidemiology and control of infections related to microorganisms of particular health interest.

- know the epidemiological method for studying the spread of these pathologies;
- recognize preventive strategies;
- know the control measures for infectious diseases.

- be able to critically interpret the results of epidemiological studies;
- know how to evaluate prevention strategies and control measures.

At the end of the teaching lessons, the student must:
- know how to use the appropriate language to provide correct health education with a view to preventing the spread of infectious diseases of greatest interest in the health sector.
