The master degree course in Dentistry and dental prosthesis, degree class n. LM-46, was established in the academic year 2009-2010 by the Council of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, in conformity with the Ministerial decrees dated 16th March 2007, in accordance with Ministerial Decree n. 270 dated 22nd October 2004, through which the degree classes and the master’s degree courses were redefined in conformity with the didactic programmes which establishes the LM-46 class, with respect to freedom of teaching, including the rights and duties of teachers and students. The didactic regulations which govern the course of study and specifies the organizational aspects, were reformulated for the 2017/18 student body by the course of study council during the assembly dated 20th July 2016 and approved by the Department of Medical , Oral and Biotechnological sciences, including the School of Medicine and Health sciences, so as to make them conform to the Didactic Regulations of the university issued with Decree 863 dated 16/12/2013. This course of study lasts six years and requires the achievement of 360 C.F.U. and it is based on educational activities related to the following course types: basic, connotative, affine or integrated, student’s choice, related to final exam. The general format of the training activities is published in the table attached to the Didactic Regulations (specified in other file), including the identification number and the sector types of the referred scientific disciplines and the number of CFU assigned. The academic year is based on yearly courses that begin in the first week of October and finish by the end of May of the following year. The educational objectives are achieved through courses that are selected and approved by the Course of Study Council before the beginning of the lessons of each academic year.
