The three-years Course in Economics and Business (CLEC) is offered by the School of Economics, Bussiness, Law and Sociology (SEAGS) of the University "G. d'Annunzio" and it is currently coordinated by Prof. Edilio Valentini (Email: edilio.valentini@unich.it). The Course is located in the campus of Pescara (placed in Viale Pindaro 42, 65127, Pescara). The Course in Economics and Business offers a multidisciplinary training on a wide range of economic topics. In particular, it provides statistical, mathematical and legal tools to deal with economic and business issues. Graduates in Economics and Business can work in public and private companies, banks, insurance companies, research institutes, and as financial and business consultants. They can also continue their studies in economics and related areas and, in particular, they can move to two-years Master Degree in Economics and Business (CLECM) offered by the School of Economics, Bussiness, Law and Sociology (SEAGS) of the University "G. d'Annunzio".The three-year Course in Economics and Business (CLEC) is divided into two distinct curricula: - Business Economics - Economics and Finance. The former, Business Economics, focuses on the general and regulatory aspects of Economics. It is for all those who are interested in job opportunities in business professions, in the sector of business management and in administrative offices in private and public institutions. The latter, Economics and Finance, focuses on the study of Economics with mathematical tools and is thought to train professionals in the field of Finance. Its sustained quantitative content makes it an ‘unicum’ in the formative offer. For each course it is specified if the teaching material is available in English or not, as well as the office hours for tutoring and dates to take exams in English. Assistance to incoming and outgoing international students is provided by Prof.Luca Zarrilli (E-mail: lucazarrilli@iol.it) who is responsible for CLEC students – as well as by Prof. Francesco D'Esposito (E-mail: francesco.desposito@unich.it) who is responsible at the School level. To be admitted to the three-years Course in Economics and Business, it is necessary to have achieved a High school Diploma or equivalent qualifications obtained abroad. To be admitted to the Course in Economics and Business it is also necessary to take an initial test to verify overall knowledge. This is an educational experience that students can carry out in external institutions affiliated with the University where they can live a work experience that can be also finalized to the writing of the thesis.
