The course in Cardio-circulatory Physiopathology and Cardiovascular Perfusion Techniques belongs to Class 3 of the Degrees in Technical Health Professions. Technicians in Cardio-circulatory Physiopathology and Cardiovascular Perfusion are health professionals specialized in the use and maintenance of equipment used for extracorporeal circulation, hemodynamic, electrophysiology, and ultrasound imaging. Their responsibilities are prevalently of a technical nature as they assist medical personnel by providing essential instructions on using equipment for hemodynamic diagnostics or to replace cardiovascular functions. They also plan, manage, and assess the requirements for the proper functioning of equipment, thereby guaranteeing the effective application of support techniques.
