The course is part of the general objective of the course of study to provide knowledge on economic theories and on the world finance system. The course aims to provide students with the tools for a correct understanding and historical interpretation of economic phenomena.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
At the end of the course students will posses the information to understand the evolution and the historical dynamics of financial systems; students will be able to reason critically on the evolutionary dynamics of finance
APPPLYNG KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
At the end of the course students will be able to:
- identify the factors underlying financial crises
- apply the historical models that classify the phases of financial crises
- know the fundamental role of the political corrector in case of financial panic
COMUNICATION SKILLS
At the end of the course the students will be acquired the following communication skills
- properly use the economic language
- rigorously outline the dynamics inherent to historical finance
