The sanitary emergency and socio-economic crisis if, on one hand, have revelated the structural fragilities of our country, on the other hand offer the opportunity to rethink the shape of living the cities and territories. In this perspective, the Public Space, and its regenerative and structural qualities, assumes relevance.
Some questions open the filed to new paths of sperimentation and innovation for Urban Design and Planning: how to rethink the space of aggregation and socialization whitin the cities? How to re-immagine the shape of domestic living in the city of emergency?
Density/Rarefaction, Public/Private, Temporality/Permanence rapresent some design categories that ask to be reconceptualized in the frame of new cultural and operative context.

This year, the course will be organized with the format of on line design workshop. It proposes the study of themes just mentioned assuming as principal objective the ecological, enviromental and social regeneration of Borgo Marino sud neighborhood of Pescara.
The students will design a proposal trought Master plan and Site plan of a specific and significative area situated witin the same neighborhood (residential or/and receptive).
