TRAINING OBJECTIVES AND OBJECTIVES
The course aims to provide students with a broad knowledge of the issues of European private law and aims to make them understand the impact and extent of Community law on national law, in particular in the field of private law, through the analysis of secondary legislation and Community and national case-law in certain areas of particular relevance for the firm and the market, with particular emphasis on consumer law and responsibility.
RESULTS OF LEARNING ATTENDED
At the end of the course, students will have to possess knowledge and skills inherent to:
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ABILITY
At the end of the course, the students:
will know and understand the issues of internal and community regulatory sources and their hierarchy; they will know and understand the role of the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice and its function in the internal system; they will know and understand the changes that have occurred as a result of European Union law in the regulation of contracts and civil liability, especially in relation to consumer contracts and liability for defective products
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
At the end of the course, the students:
- will use the knowledge acquired by applying it in the qualification of a concrete case which can be analyzed in the light of the Italian-Community system of sources
- will select the legal instruments necessary to meet the needs arising from economic reality, in particular consumer bargaining.
-will interpret a text of European Union law and assess the legal consequences arising both in the regulatory system and in private relations.
- will apply the notions acquired to concrete cases and will be able to indicate the preferable solution and to orient themselves among several proposed solutions
AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT:
At the end of the course, students:
- They will know and interpret community sources correctly and will be able to reconstruct the Italian-European system of sources
-They will be able to understand the function and role of the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice and the contents of the decisions.
- They will express analytical and summary considerations on the fundamental aspects of the discipline and will make connections between the various institutes.
- They will apply the knowledge acquired to concrete cases and will be able to
indicate the preferable solution and orient yourself among several proposed solutions.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- At the end of the course, the students:
know and understand the language of the community legislator and use it in the exposition and discussion of the specific issues of the subject.

of the discipline and directs itself in the deepening of specific themes
