The course is geared to offer the reconstructive lines of the most significant theoretical-sociological addresses, compared to the deviance problems, investigated in relation to its most interesting phenomenal profiles and its complex causal factors. In this perspective and on the basis of the best criminological theories, the lessons will accompany the acquisition of robust scientific knowledge and critical awareness around the issues of the genetic processes and the repressive forms of deviance; of the prison experiences; of the safety and public order; of the cultural and religious conflict; of the disciplinary society and the functioning of the authoritarian institutions.
