Students are supposed to have taken the course of General Linguistics I and Sociolinguistics I
The course aims at letting the students of LM37 and LM38 acquire the phenomena related to language contact both in synchrony and in diachrony
The analysis of language contact phenomena in synchrony and diachrony and consequently in speech and written documents

Lectures and seminars
The course is organized in a way to favor the ongoing acquisition of the contents. Therefore, the students should take two in itinere written tests and the final oral exam
