The course will focus on introducing the linguistic image of the Russian-speaking world. The main topics of the course are 1) the dominant elements of the linguistic image of the Russian and Italian world such as type of subject, definiteness, determinacy, indeterminacy, "semi-predicative" constructs; 2) winged phrases deriving from classical literature.
The program includes the study of the phenomenon of winged phrases under three aspects: 1) cultural aspect (deepening of knowledge about the author and the source); 2) linguistic and cultural adaptation (ability to decode and interpret the meaning of the winged phrase in the various texts); 3) autonomous research of the phrases studied in the texts of the different genres and their interpretation.
The Written Production Skills program will focus on the structure of the academic essay.
During the year, some of the main theoretical and practical aspects of the stylistic analysis of the text and the RU-IT and IT-RU translation for Company and International Cooperation will be faced: terminology, phases and working techniques; translation analysis of the text; international standards. The related sectoral languages and methodology of specialist research will be analysed.
The reading program consists of texts of a social, publicistic, scientific and economic-commercial nature.
