Objectives

The course aims to provide the student with the basic knowledge of computer hardware and software structures for its use in clinical setting.

Contents

Understand the basic concepts of computer science and the use of computers

Extended Syllabus

Introduction. The binary system. PC architecture and their general characteristics. Hardware. Software. Algorithm concept, compilers, libraries. Programs of the Microsoft Office family with particular attention to Excel. Computer networks. Health information systems.
