At the end of the course, the student must know the organization of the surgical department and the operating room. He must be aware of the roles covered by the Medical and Nursing Staff, of the activities carried out in the Surgery Units by collaborating with these professional figures in order to fully implement the care path. Furthermore, at the end of the course, he will be able to manage any critical intra-hospital and local issues that may arise. Finally, the student must acquire a sufficient command of the terms and meanings of the main surgical procedures.
