The course of Internal Medicine intends to provide knowledge on the physiopathological and clinical aspects of the main internal diseases with references to problems that can potentially intersect with obstetric pathologies.
1. Hypertension, cardiovascular risk and diseases and hypertension in pregnancy 2. Deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism 3. Respiratory diseases 4. Thrombophilia and risk of pregnancy 5. Disseminated intravascular coagulation 6. Major and minor bleeding 7. Endocrine diseases: gestational diabetes 8. Hematological diseases: anemias 9. Neurological disorders and pregnancy 10. Gastrointestinal and hepatic diseases 11. Infections in pregnancy

Frontal lessons
The final exam consists of an oral and / or written test in order to evaluate the knowledge acquired by the student in the Internal Medicine Course
