The course takes place to the second year of the basic degree in economics and management and represents the first meeting of students with the principles of business organization. It is of fundamental importance to help students to build sound basic knowledge on the functioning and governance of organizational relationships. Organizational schemes emerge from individual behaviors. In particular, the course is dedicated to a comparison between a vision of the "complicated and hypercomplicated" organizational model based on systems and subsystems and a "complex" type interpretative model based on the emergence of forms and behaviors.

- Knowledge: main characteristics of organizational behaviors at various levels of actions
- Skills: ability to define, at least in first approximation, the best combinations between organizational and business structures
