2) ESSAYS
Students are required to read and prepare carefully 4 essays from the collection:
P. Casalegno et al. (a cura di), Filosofia del linguaggio, Raffaello Cortina, Milano;
of which, mandatory: =G. Frege (Senso e significato/Meaning and Denotation) and =P. Grice (Logica e conversazione/Logic and Conversation);
TWO other essays can be freely selected.

3) PRESENTATIONS
Students can prepare a short presentation in oral form or with power point support, connecting basic concepts from the textbook with the selected essays. The work must show both historical and theoretical knowledge of the subject. Students are invited to present their work at the end of the lessons; alternatively presentations can be given at the exams.
