The overall objective of the course is to:
- explain the principles and general theory of economic policy;
- provide the theoretical tools and method useful for understanding, analysing and elaborating the basic principles of economic policy;
- describe the dynamics of budgetary policy, monetary and exchange rate policy, welfare policy, employment and growth policies;
- describe economic policy in the dimension of membership of the European Union and in the international context.
