The teaching contributes to the achievement of the educational objectives of the course of study in Lingue straniere per l'impresa e la cooperazione internazionale (LM/38)
KNOWLEDGE AND CAPABILITY OF UNDERSTANDING: The course is structured in two parts: Part 1 aims to enable students to know the content of the fundamental rules of the international legal order, and the related terminological and technical tools, while providing the appropriate means to acquire the correct methodology of study of the subject.
Part 2 is devoted to the study of the constituent treaties of the IOs, and to the principles and rules governing them.
At the end of the course students will be able to understand the structure of the international legal system, and the structure of the International Organizations acting in the international legal order, their functions, their institutional framework, their competencies, their lawmaking process, their external relations.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
this knowledge will enable students, within the scope of their possible employment, to apply international law and the internal law of International Organizations.
