Basic knowledge of the alphabet and pronunciation. Language proficiency at level A1/A2. Completion of previous courses and passing assessment exams. Understanding of basic grammar concepts. Knowledge of common vocabulary. Ability to read and understand simple texts.
The course aims to expand and consolidate the foundations of the Arabic language in its phonological, graphemic, lexical, morphological, and syntactic aspects, as well as the development of comprehension, production, and interpretation skills to and from Standard Arabic (MSA). It aims to enable learners to reach level B1 of oral Arabic language proficiency by the end of the year, starting from an A2 literacy level.
Verb morphology: the 10 verbal forms, assimilated verb, hamzated verb, geminated verb, concave verb. Ordinal and cardinal numbers. Time expression: days of the week, months of the year, telling time. Impersonal verbs: expression of obligation. Readings from reference manuals.
