BUSINESS ECONOMICS
The general goal of this course is to provide students the main knowledge bases for understand the problems that characterize the management of
companies. In particular its aim is to transmit them the basic knowledge necessary for the analysis of the business system observed with the use of the main interpretative models elaborated in doctrine and practice for the management of companies.
At the conclusion of the
course students must be able to:
- describe the logics of operation of the corporate system
- understand the concept of economic and financial performance
- interpret the complex nature of company economic, financial and social performance.

Lecture notes
The course includes 10 hours of lessons divided into 5 lessons of 2 hours per week.
The lessons will focus mainly on lectures. Attendance is strongly recommended.
The examination procedure and its evaluation will be indicated by the teacher at the beginning of the lessons. The exam will take place in written form with 10 multiple choice questions. The topics examined will reflect those addressed during the lessons and present in the program. The evaluation will be based on the passing of at least 6 out of 10 answers. The final grade of the integrated course will be calculated as the average of the individual grades reported in each module (minimum 18/30) which make up the integrated course.
