The course aims to develop knowledge and competences regarding the management of innovation activities and the protection of intellectual and industrial property. Such elements will complete the academic training furnishing theoretically-based knowledge and operative tools to manage innovation projects (mainly the ones based on design) and the protection of innovative results (e.g., non disclosure agreement, copyright, trademark).
After completing the course and positively pass the exam, the student will be able to identify different typologies of innovation (product, process, organizational, marketing, design driven) and to actively participate to innovation processes, with a specific focus on the “meaning” dimension. Moreover, the student will be aware of the need to protect the innovation results and how to interact with professionals operating in this specific service area.
